Core Ensemble

Students in Shakespearean Youth Theatre’s Core Ensemble acting class spend six months delving into one Shakespeare play, studying the text and analyzing the story’s themes, characters, and poetic construction, as well as working with professional theatre artists to strengthen acting and performance skills in voice, movement, stage combat, and storytelling. In the second half of of the program, students rehearse with a professional director and perform in a full - length production of the play.
